Kisjlak

'n Kisjlak in die berge van Tadjikistan.

'n Kisjlak (Russies: кишлак, kisjlak; Aserbeidjans: qışlaq; Kasaks: қыстау, kistai; Tataars: кышлау, kisjlai; Tadjiks: қишлоқ, kisjlok; ensovoorts) is 'n permanente plattelandse dorp in sommige lande waar boere tradisioneel die winter in die berge deurgebring het. Die woord kisj beteken in baie Turkse tale "winter". Die term word gebruik in Azerbeidjan, Afghanistan en Sentraal-Asië.[1][2].
