Mirzam (ook bekend as Beta Canis Majoris of β CMa) is ’n ster in die sterrebeeld Groot Hond (Canis Major). Met sy gemiddelde skynbare magnitude van 1,985 is dit een van die helderste sterre in die naglug. Volgens parallaksmetings is dit sowat 500 ligjare van die Son af.^[2]
