Pirog (Russies: пиро́г) is 'n gebakte deegdop met 'n soet of sout vulsel.[1][2] Die gereg is algemeen in die Oos-Europese kookkuns. Pirogi (пироги́, meervoud) word beskryf as "alomteenwoordig in die Russiese lewe" en "die gewildste en belangrikste gereg"[3] in Rusland.

Die naam kom van die antieke Protoslawiese woord pir, wat "banket" of "fees" beteken.[4]
