La investidura presidencial de George W. Bush de 2001, como'l cuarentenu tercer presidente de los Estaos Xuníos tuvo llugar el 20 de xineru de 2001; el Presidente de la Corte Suprema William Rehnquist alministró'l xuramentu de la oficina a les 12:01 PM.[1]
Na viéspora de la investidura hubo una celebración pa los autores d'América entamada por Laura Bush nes Fíes de la Revolución Americana nel Constitution Hall.[2] Wayne Newton, Brooks & Dunn y Ricky Martin formaron parte de la investidura como entretenimientu.[3]
Miles de manifestantes asistieron a la ceremonia inaugural en Washington, DC pa protestar poles polítiques de Bush y los resultaos de la eleición presidencial de los EE.XX. 2000.[4][5] Cuatro protestantes fueron arrestaos y la limusina de Bush viose afeutada por una pelota de tenis y un güevu tiráu del ensame mientres el desfile inaugural.[1] Calcúlase que 300 000 persones asistieron a la ceremonia de toma de xuramentu.[6][7]
