Life of a Cowboy és una pel·lícula muda de la Edison Manufacturing Company dirigida per Edwin S. Porter.[1] Es va estrenar el maig[2] o juny de 1906.[3] Porter considerà que aquesta pel·lícula fou el seu primer western relegant The Great Train Robbery (1903) a una pel·lícula de lladres.[4]
