Tripodichthys angustifrons és una espècie de peix de la família dels triacàntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.[2]
És un peix marí, de clima tropical i demersal.[3] Els adults poden assolir 20 cm de longitud total.[3][4] Menja invertebrats bentònics.[3]
Es troba a Austràlia i Indonèsia.[5][6]
