Mae'r term ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) yn niwroleg sy'n cyfeirio at ffenomen biolegol a nodweddir gan ymdeimlad dymunol o oglais yr ydych chi'n teimlo fel arfer yn rhanbarthau'r pen, croen y pen neu ymylol y corff mewn ymateb i symbyliad gweledol, clywedol, ac ysgogiadau gwybyddol. Daeth y ffenomen hon yn hysbys trwy'r rhyngrwyd a'r cyfryngau cymdeithasol; hynny yw, trwy flogiau a fideoblogau.[2][3][4] Mae'n ffurf ddymunol o paresthesia; fe'i cymharwyd â synesthesia clywedol-gyffyrddol [5][6] a gall orgyffwrdd â frisson.
