The 1911 Texas Longhorns football team was an American football team that represented the University of Texas (now known as the University of Texas at Austin) as an independent during the 1911 college football season. In their first year under head coach Dave Allerdice, the Longhorns compiled an overall record of 5–2.[1] They won the "state championship" by winning the Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship that year.[2]
