The 1996 United States presidential election in Utah took place on November 7, 1996, as part of the 1996 United States presidential election. Voters chose five representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Utah was won by Republican nominee Bob Dole, who obtained 54.37 percent of the vote - his highest total in any state - and won by a 21.07 point margin, his highest margin of victory nationwide.[1][2]

As of the 2024 presidential election, this is the last election in which Tooele and Carbon Counties voted for a Democratic presidential candidate.[3] This also marked the first time since statehood that a president won two terms without ever carrying Utah.
