On April 12, 2019, a five-year-old boy was tossed from the third floor at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. Emmanuel Aranda, a 24-year-old man from Minneapolis, was charged with attempted murder. in June, he was sentenced to 19 years in prison.[1]
