The 2025 U.S. Figure Skating Championships were held January 20–26, 2025, at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.[1] Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance at the senior, junior, and novice levels. The results are part of the U.S. selection criteria for the 2025 Four Continents Championships, 2025 World Championships, and 2025 World Junior Championships.
On January 29, 2025, three days after the competition, skaters, coaches and family members flying to Washington D.C. following the post-competition National Development Camp were on board American Airlines Flight 5342, which was involved in a mid-air collision while on approach to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, killing all aboard. Among the passengers were Russian former figure skaters and Team USA coaches Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, who were also the parents of medalist Maxim Naumov, along with a group of young skaters from the Skating Club of Boston.[2]
