Alkanolamine

In organic chemistry, alkanolamines (amino alcohols) are organic compounds that contain both hydroxyl (−OH) and amino (−NH₂, −NHR, and −NR₂) functional groups on an alkane backbone. Most alkanolamines are colorless.^[1]
