Atanas Angelov Pekanov (Bulgarian: Атанас Ангелов Пеканов, born April 30,[citation needed] 1991) is a Bulgarian economist and politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister in 2021 and from 2022 to 2023. A political independent, his portfolio was the management of funds by the European Union.[1][2]
