Banganga is a municipality in Kapilvastu District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal.[1] Banganga Municipality has total of 233.6 km2.[1] According to the census of 2021 (2078 B. S) , total population of the municipality is 96,714[2] with population density of 414 person per km2 . The literacy rate of municipality is highest in the district with 81.9% ( male= 88.2%, female =75.6%) .
