Baya Jurquet (born 9 April 1920 in Algiers, Algeria - died 7 July 2007 in Marseille) was an antiracist and anti-colonial activist and feminist.[1] She worked for the emancipation of women in Algeria. She advocated for the defence and promotion of the right to self-determination and against colonialism in Algeria.
