Best FM is both Malaysia's first private radio station (not the first commercial station, Time Highway Radio is the first), and the first to be based outside of Kuala Lumpur, in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. Its studios are located in the royal town of Pasir Pelangi. Targeting listeners aged between 25 and 45, the station plays modern keroncong, traditional Malay music and popular music from the 1990s to the present day.[2]
