William Craig Campbell[2] (born 1953 or 1954) is an American politician, who served as the 57th Mayor of Atlanta, Georgia from January 1994–January 2002.[3] He was the third African-American mayor in the city's history. Accused of corruption during his time in office, he was convicted for tax evasion in 2006 and spent 16 months in federal prison.[4]
