Braunschweig Hauptbahnhof is a railway station in the German city of Braunschweig (Brunswick). It is about 1.5 km (0.93 mi) southeast of the city centre and was opened on 1 October 1960, replacing the old passenger station on the southern edge of the old town. Around 118,000 passengers use the station daily for embarking, disembarking and transferring to other trains.[4]The train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn, Erixx, Metronom and WestfalenBahn.
