Lars Evald Christoffer Taxell (born July 14, 1948, in Turku, Finland) is a Finland Swedish politician, business leader and former chancellor of Åbo Akademi University. He is known in Finland as a decision-maker in Finland Swedish politics, economics and culture.[1] In 2009, he was chosen by the newspaper Iltalehti as the third most influential decision-maker in the Finnish economy after Björn Wahlroos and Antti Herlin.[2]
