Coacoatzintla in a municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located in the mountainous central zone of the state, about 11.5 km from the state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 43.9 km2. It is located at 19°39′N 96°56′W / 19.650°N 96.933°W.
