DFA Records is an American independent record label based in New York City.

The label was originally founded in 2001 by Mo' Wax co-founder Tim Goldsworthy, musician James Murphy,[5] and manager Jonathan Galkin.[6] Goldsworthy and Murphy were formerly a production team called The DFA until Goldsworthy's relocation to the UK.
