Archbishop Damian (Albanian: Kryepeshkopi Damian, secular name Dhimitër Kokoneshi; 26 October 1886 – 8 October 1973) was the bishop of the Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania and its primate from 7 March 1966. De facto he led the Church until February 1967,[1] when the religion was abolished in Albania.[2]
