Octavia Hatcher (b. May 21, 1869, d. May 2, 1891)[1] was the wife of a wealthy Kentucky business man, John Hatcher, and remains the subject of a legend of premature burial. Interestingly, the time period her obituary and story of her possible premature burial would have been published in the local paper have gone missing.
