Ellen Huntly Bullard Mason (12 January 1817 – 3 August 1894) was an American Baptist foreign missionary and writer.[1] The founder of the Woman's Union Missionary Society of America for Heathen Lands, she was the first woman in the US to sign an agreement to institute a union effort by women, independent of denominational control, to bring the Gospel to the zenanas of India.[2]
