Evil Empire is a French video game developer based in Bordeaux, France.[1] The company was created in 2019 by former Motion Twin employees to provide long term support for Dead Cells, and to let the former company focus on developing new IPs.[2] Evil Empire worked on DLC and updates for Dead Cells until 2024, when it launched its first original title, The Rogue Prince of Persia, in early access.[3]
