Fu Cong (Chinese: 傅聪; pinyin: Fù Cōng; born June 1965) is a Chinese seasoned diplomat who works in the foreign service of the People's Republic of China since 1987. He has been serving as China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations since April 2024.
He previously served as Head of China's Permanent Mission to the European Union from 2022 to 2024, as Director General of the Arms Control Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2022, and as Ambassador of China for Disarmament Affairs in Geneva from 2015 to 2019.
