Gbongan is a large town in Osun State, Nigeria. It is the headquarters of the Aiyedaade Local Government Area.
The town has an official Post Office.[1] Gbongan was founded by Olufioye (a prince of old Oyo - one of the surviving sons of Alaafin Abiodun Adegoriolu).
