Gordon Bennett (9 October 1955 – 3 June 2014)[1] was an Birri Gubba and Darumbal artist of Aboriginal and Anglo-Celtic descent.[2] Born in Monto, Queensland, Bennett was a significant figure in contemporary Indigenous Australian art.
