Handforth Town Council is the civil parish council of Handforth, Cheshire, England.[1] Established first in 1890s and abolished in 1936, it was then known as Handford Parish Council. After re-established in 2011, the council again represented the local community.
Handford Parish Council gained prominence after an infamous online meeting in 2020 over the legitimacy of the clerk Jackie Weaver. The council was renamed subsequently to its current name in the aftermath of the so-called Jackie Weaver phenomenon.
