Hellmuth Hirth (German: [ˈhɛlmuːt ˈhɪʁt] ^ⓘ; 24 April 1886 – 1 July 1938) was a German engineer who founded the Mahle GmbH and Hirth companies, manufacturing engine components and complete aircraft engines respectively.
