Henry County is a county in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, its population was 17,146.[1] Its county seat is Abbeville.[2] The county was named for Patrick Henry, the orator and Governor of Virginia.[3]
Henry County is part of the Dothan, Alabama metropolitan area.
