Hunter Hill (born June 23, 1977)[1] is an American Republican Party politician.[2] He represented District 6 of the Georgia State Senate, located in Smyrna,[3] from when he was first sworn into office on January 14, 2013,[4][5] until he resigned on August 30, 2017 to run for governor.[6][7] On April 24, 2017, Hill announced his candidacy for governor of Georgia in 2018.[8] He lost the Republican gubernatorial primary on May 22, 2018, coming in third behind Casey Cagle and Brian Kemp.
