Isidora Aguirre Tupper (22 March 1919 – 25 February 2011) was a Chilean writer, an author mainly of dramatic works on social issues that have been performed in many countries in the Americas and Europe.[1] Her best known work is La pérgola de las flores [es], which, constituted "one of the milestones in the history of Chilean theater in the second half of the 20th century."[2]
