Jean-Pierre Bechter (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ pjɛʁ bɛʃtɛʁ]; born 10 November 1944) is a French politician and sub-prefect.[1][2]
He is a member of the Union for a Popular Movement, and served as mayor of Corbeil-Essonnes in 2010 and 2014. He is a departmental councilor of Essonne since 2018. He was a deputy of French from 22 April 1986 to 14 May 1988. He was re-elected to the Paris council.[3]
