John Joseph Lattner (October 24, 1932 – February 12, 2016) was an American football halfback. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, winning the Heisman Trophy in 1953 and the Maxwell Award in both 1952 and 1953. He also played professional football in the National Football League (NFL) for one season with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1954.
