Kim Sae-ron (Korean김새론; July 31, 2000 – February 16, 2025) was a South Korean actress. Kim began her career in 2001 as a child model and transitioned to acting in 2009. Her acting career began with A Brand New Life (2009) and she became known through The Man from Nowhere (2010). The latter role earned her a Best New Actress – Film nomination at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards.

She later starred in television drama series Listen to My Heart (2011), The Queen's Classroom (2013), and Hi! School: Love On (2014), along with the film A Girl at My Door (2014). Her first adult lead role was in the television drama Secret Healer (2016).

Over the years, Kim built a reputation as one of South Korea's most promising young actresses.[1] However, in 2022, her career plateaued following a drunk driving incident, which led to public backlash and legal consequences. She was edited out of most scenes in the 2023 Netflix series Bloodhounds.[2]

Kim was found dead at her home in Seoul, South Korea, on February 16, 2025, at age 24. Her death was ruled a suicide.
