The leader of the Opposition (Japan) is the leader of the main opposition party who is not in power. This is not the official position established by law. As a result of the 2024 Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan presidential election, Japanese ex-PM Yoshihiko Noda became the leader of the Opposition.[1][2]
