Italian supercentenarians are citizens, residents or emigrants from Italy who have attained or surpassed 110 years of age. As of January 2015[update], the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) had validated the longevity claims of 151 Italian supercentenarians, the majority of whom were women.[1] The oldest Italian ever is Emma Morano, who was also the last living person born before the year 1900.[2] As of 30 January 2025, the oldest living person in Italy is Lucia Laura Sangenito born on 22 November 1910 in Campania, aged 114 years, 69 days.[3]
