Luca Marchegiani (Italian pronunciation: [ˈluːka markeˈdʒaːni]; born 22 February 1966) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
He represented several Italian clubs throughout his career, in particular Torino and Lazio, where he won various titles. At international level, he played for the Italy national team in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, where they reached the final.
He holds the longest unbeaten streak in Lazio's history, as well as the joint eighth-highest unbeaten streak in Serie A, alongside Gianluigi Buffon, having gone 745 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal in the Italian top division.[1]
