Matthew S. Meyer (born September 29, 1971[1]) is an American politician and attorney. A member of the Democratic Party, he has served as the governor of Delaware since 2025. He was previously the New Castle County executive from 2017 to 2025. He is the state’s second Jewish Governor, the first being Jack Markell.
