2023 Wins his first PDC World Darts Championship, beating Michael van Gerwen, 7–4 in the final, having previously being runner up twice in 2019 and 2022. Smith also becomes only the 2nd player to hit a nine dart finish in the final.

Michael Smith (born 18 September 1990) is an English professional darts player. Nicknamed "Bully Boy", he competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number seventeen, having been the world number one during the 2023 season. He is a former PDC World Champion, having won the 2023 World Championship.

Smith was the 2013 PDC Under-21 World Champion and has since won 25 senior PDC titles, including the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts. He won his first PDC major title at the Grand Slam, having been a runner-up at the World Championship in 2019 and 2022, the 2019 World Matchplay, the Premier League and PDC Masters in 2020, the UK Open and European Championship in 2022, the 2018 World Series Finals, and the 2019 PDC World Cup of Darts, partnering Rob Cross in the latter.

Smith won the PDC World Cup of Darts for England in 2024, partnering Luke Humphries, and was the runner-up at the 2024 World Series of Darts Finals.
