Mostovsky District (Russian: Мосто́вский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Mostovsky Municipal District.[5] It is located in the southeast of the krai. The area of the district is 3,699 square kilometers (1,428 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Mostovskoy.[1] Population: 71,178 (2010 Census);[3] 72,660 (2002 Census);[7] 65,368 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Mostovskoy accounts for 35.2% of the district's total population.[3]
