Muara[a] or officially known as Muara Town (Malay: Pekan Muara), is a port town located in the Brunei–Muara District, approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) from the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan. As of 2021, the population of the town was 2,539.[2] Muara is officially classified as a settlement under Mukim Serasa,[4] and its postcode is BT1128.[5]
