Nemuro Main Line (根室本線, Nemuro Honsen) is a railway line in Hokkaido. Following the closure of the Furano-Shintoku section on 1 April 2024 the line is operated by Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido) in two sections, being Takikawa to Furano and Shintoku to Nemuro (including Obihiro and Kushiro). Higashi-Nemuro is the most easterly situated station on the Japanese rail system.
