Nikaho (にかほ市, Nikaho-shi) is a city located in Akita Prefecture, Japan. As of 28 February 2023[update], the city had an estimated population of 22,958 in 9388 households,[1] and a population density of 95 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 241.13 square kilometres (93.10 sq mi).
