In Greek mythology, Palamaon (Ancient Greek: Παλαμάων) was the Athenian father of Daedalus, the famous architect of Labyrinth.[1] The latter was attributed to various parentage: (1) Eupalamus[2] and Alcippe,[3] (2) Metion[4] and Iphinoe,[5] (3) Phrasmede[6] or (4) Merope, daughter of King Erechtheus.[7]
