The Palestinian Liberation Front (Arabic: جبهة التحرير الفلسطينية, PLF), also known as the Palestine Liberation Front - Abu Abbas Faction or Palestine Liberation Front,[6] is a minor left-wing Palestinian political faction.[7] Since 1997, the PLF has been a designated terrorist organization by the United States[8] and by Canada since 2003.[9] The PLF has also been banned in Japan.[10]

In 1996, the party took part in the 1996 Palestinian general election, winning 0.11% of the vote.[5] The party also ran in the 2006 Palestinian legislative election under the name ‘Martyr Abu Abbas’, and received 0.30% of the vote.[11]
