Pasivadi Pranam is a 1987 Indian Telugu-language thriller film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy, starring Chiranjeevi, Vijayashanti, Raghuvaran and Sujitha. The film was produced by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts banner. It was a remake of the Malayalam film Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal (1986).[2]
Released on 23 July 1987, the film was an Industry Hit and became the highest-grossing Telugu film at the time, collecting a distributors' share of over ₹4.75 crore.[2][1][3][4]

Chiranjeevi's 1987 Telugu film Pasivadi Pranam moved me a lot. I wanted to rehash it and give it a contemporary touch.
