The song received generally positive reviews from music critics who praised the liveliness of the track and noted the consistency with other songs performed by Martin. It peaked at number five on the US Hot Latin Songs and became Martin's 23rd top-ten single on the chart. An accompanying music video, directed by Kátia Lund and Lívia Gama of Bossa Nova Films, was shot in Rio de Janeiro. It features Martin singing and dancing on the beach accompanied by around 100 other people.
In 2006, Ivy Queen received the first Premio Juventud "Diva Award", which honored the singer for her musical career and is her only Premio Juventud thus far. In 2009, "Dime", from the album Ivy Queen 2008 World Tour Live!, became her most nominated work at the Billboard Latin Music Award ceremony, where she was awarded both "Hot Latin Song of the Year, Female" and "Tropical Airplay Song of the Year, Female" out of five total nominations.

Entren Los Que Quieran impacted several charts internationally, peaking at number six on the Billboard Latin Albums chart and number 25 on the Billboard Rap Albums chart. The record spawned seven singles, including "Latinoamérica", which reached the top ten of both the Billboard Latin Digital Songs and Latin Rhythm Digital Songs charts. The record won a total of nine Latin Grammy Awards including Album of the Year. It was also nominated for a Grammy in the Best Latin, Pop, Rock or Urban Album category at the 2012 Grammys.
