Posten Bring, formerly Posten Norge (lit. 'The Mail, Norway'), is the name of the Norwegian postal service. The company, owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications, had a monopoly until 2016 on the distribution of letters weighing less than 50 grams (1.8 oz) throughout the country. There are 6[2] post offices in Norway, in addition to approximately 1400 sales outlets.[3]
